7. #MacAdmins note – The Ventura 13.1 update will now show up for Monterey users who have not updated to 12.6.1. Even though you have a Major deferral set, the Ventura Upgrade will now show up as a smaller delta upgrade. Once the user is on 12.6.1, you can block the delta upgrade with a Major Deferral. If you still have users on 12.6 and below, you can still have a minor deferral date set to 50 days users will still see the 12.6.1 update but not see the Ventura delta upgrade..
9. OpenCore Legacy Patcher Users – Ventura 13.1 update successfully installed on a 6,1 Mac Pro with OCLP 0.5.2. NOTE: Do not revert the post volume patches to get a smaller update. OCLP + Ventura require the full 11GB update to prevent issues & “preparing” erros

Apple has released the full IPSW restore file of macOS Monterey for Apple Silicon M1 Macs. I keep track of all of them in my Apple Silicon Firmware Database
The delta update will automatically change in size for exactly what your macOS version needs.

The “Combo Update” has been replaced by an automatic sized update. This means if you are updating from an version of monterey, you will get an update that includes only the files that you need.
