Apple did not release patch notes for the 11.6.2 update.
The update only includes security fixes.
The update to 11.6.2 was not really successful for me, because practically all CMYK profiles were gone after the update (correctly installed, but not available). I have been able to reproduce the problem and posted some screenshots here (but not sure if all or only some installations are affected. Going up to 12.1 solved that problem for me) …

best, Marcus
Mr. Macintosh, I used one of your helpful videos to upgrade my iMac13,1 to Big Sur 11.6.1 using OpenCore Legacy Patcher and I’m very pleased with the results. Thank you! But now that 11.6.2 is out, I can see it as an available update in System Preferences > Software Update within MacOS. Can I simply upgrade to 11.6.2 on my legacy Mac using Software Update or do I need to download a full version, and install it from a USB drive?
hello mr.macintosh
i would really like to appreciate the good work you are doing to provide people guidance how to install big sur on unsupported macs. I have 1 issue regarding this update of 11.6.2 on patched sur as patching kexts do not work and the wifi suddenly stops . please sir look forward to this issue and help
thank you
Mr Macintosh, you are doing a great job and make the life of many Mac-owners easy.
Thank you for that!
I am running macOS 11.6.1 on my MBP 10.1, mid 2012 using the OCLP for the upgrade.
The machine is running great!
Now I am in doubt how to update to 11.6.2
My Software Update says macOS 11.6.2 is available.
I suppose that I cannot update from there but have to use the OCLP again.
Is that correct?
Pls reply to this msg.
