Today, Apple released macOS Tahoe 26.6.1 to the public. The update is available through Software Update in System Settings for all compatible Macs.

Apple just released the security notes for the macOS Tahoe 26.6.1 update.

Screen Sharing

Available for: macOS Tahoe

Impact: An attacker on the network may be able to authenticate to Screen Sharing without valid credentials.

Description: An authentication issue was addressed with improved state management.
